That’s right folks…we’re back!

I know it may seem like Do It With Malice has been inactive for the past 10 years or so, besides our one little reunion show in 2019.  That may or may not be true, but I’m not here to argue semantics.  The point is, we are active now.  Maybe the most important bit of information surrounding the return is that we’ve added a new member.  Please welcome Dominic Testino to the group(That’s right, the rightful heir to the Testino’s Pizza Rolls fortune).  He will be providing a variety of tasty licks on the trumpet and even helping out on backing vocals.

Which leads me to my next point.  Over those ten or so years in which we may or may not have been “active”, we have managed to slowly compile a decent amount of new music.  Expect to hear some of that new music soon, it may even have a ska part or two, but no promises.  Either way, we will be working towards a new full-length.  Should be done in the next 1-3 years, and that I can in fact promise.

Last but not least…We have a fricken’ show! Joystick (Stomp Records / Bad Time Records) are coming through town on their summer tour and we couldn’t resist the offer to make it our comeback show!  The show is Thursday August 11th at The Tudor Lounge.  But wait, there’s more.  Turkey Blaster Omega and Toy Box Brigade will be filling out the lineup.  Not tickets for this one, just $7 at the door.  If you don’t know these bands already, you’ve still got plenty of time to get acquainted, and I suggest you do.  New Orleans based Joystick have been killing it in the ska scene for years, and their latest album, “I Can’t Take It Anymore” was no exception.  The newcomers from Rochester, Turkey Blaster Omega just released their highly anticipated debut album, “Habits Of The Average Degenerate“, and you can find their ep “First Contact” in our webstore.  And if you haven’t checked out the opener Toy Box Brigade, you are missing out!  Their last ep “Liftoff“, was a huge step forward from their debut and I’m expecting big things in the future.
