Insidious Industries is beyond excited to announce the signing of our great friends in Girth Control out of Albany, NY! Featuring past and present members of Public Access, and The Slaughterhouse Chorus, the upstate NY ska/punk trio wants you to remember the days of circle pits and skateboards, basement bands and beer bongs, and the beauty of punk rock in all its permutations. We will be releasing their brand new album, “Life’s Too Short For Girth Control” on March 1st! The band dropped a video today for the lead single, “Hope Girth Control Can Pay The Bills” that can be seen here(Hope Girth Control Can Pay the Bills). It even features a cameo appearance from yours truly!
To celebrate this great occasion, we have put together the Dorito Covered World Tour! A weekend of release shows in both the band’s stomping grounds of Albany and the label’s home base, Buffalo.
Girth Control’s 25-song masterpiece comes on your choice of Golden Dorito or Very Classy Green colored vinyl, each limited to 100 copies. Pre-orders ship by March 1, 2024. To go along with the album we have printed an exclusive “Laughin’ & Rockin’ Out” t-shirt, featuring artwork by Brendan Halayko (@brendanontheinternet), available in both Gold Tie-Dye and Classic Black. We will also have pre-order bundles available. Choose one for a sweet deal on a t-shirt, a ticket to the March 1 Albany release show at Empire Underground, or all of the above!
